T-5 lighting for a 30inch wide tank

Hey everyone, just need some thoughts on lighting my new tank, the dims are 60x30x24tall im keeping sps and lps in there and want to use T-5 lighting. what are your thoughts, 6 bulb,8bulb- ATI or tek light.

8 lamp ATI for sure

30", I'd go for the 8 bulb Ati or better yet the 10 bulb. I am considering the same option myself. Last months TOTM sold me!

Just remeber that the bulbs are around 21-24.99 each.. So 10 bulbs is going to run you like 240.00 plus shipping when it comes time to change bulbs.. IME T5 bulbs dont last much longer then MH either.. I sold my T5s cause for my tank it was cheaper to just run Mh.. I had 12 bulbs

changed them out for 3 Mh

That tank did the same for me, i just order a frag/coral tank to get some frags growing while I build the beast.

what are you running for lighting, 3 MH's pendants?
