Didn't fit. the 2" sch40 was a tad too small.

Usually 1.5x the size of your system, with no more than the rating of the skimmer in GPH.

All these 200s look great! Congrats. What happen to your ELOS skimmer that came with your setup?

You need a 40mm schedule 80 elbow if you want to match the skimmer's plumbing. RyanHerco.com has it, so does McMasterCarr.com

ELOS is a POS compared to your new H&S.

hi i am an owner of H&S skimmer 150-F2001

The chamber of the sump that is inside, is a little bit tall, and the output is almost behind the glass, as you can see in the picture.. can i put something under the skimmer to make the base of the skimmer a little bit taller?

Second the input water from the Aquabee must be directly as it can be from the Main tank return?

nettraptor,

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but here is how I have my A150-F2001 plumbed directly from one of my overflows;

For the A150 F2001 maximum flow through recommended is 1000L.

nettraptor,

You have the internal (in-sump) model. You won't be able to run yours from the overflow. Just sit your skimmer inside your sump, and the eheim will pump the water through it.

Joe

You will need to raise the skimmer output above the water level in the sump or lower the water level one. If the output is submerged the skimmer will not operate properly. You can sit the skimmer on something just make sure you support the pump as well as the skimmer chamber.

I've got a H&S and I really was thinking about putting a drain on it. Has anyone done it? Is it a good idea or is it better to leave it alone so I will have to take it off and clean it etc? What's you guys thoughts?

Your sump waterlevel is about 3" too high. The sump waterlevel should be just under the T-output on the skimmer, so raise the skimmer a few inches.

Check the warranty. Last I checked was if you drill the cup, it voids the warranty.
