Since you have a black background, do you have to clean it like you would the other clear sides?

Will, that is one gorgeous tank and I really love your stand and canopy. If I may ask, where did you get the doors for your stand? Did you make them too? If you did build them what are they made from? I am getting ready to build my stand and am looking for idea's. Thanks for sharing your build and all the details of your thread.

That's cool that some have maple. Thanks for the tips. Went over to Rockler.com, a woodworking website and looked at routers, tables, etc. If I keep buying woodworking tools my tank will never get set up, lol. Really cool pictures, keep'em coming. I hope I can get colors like that. BTW, you might see a build thread with a stand strikingly similar to yours in the near future, hope you don't mind. ![]() |

I used these http://www.coralreefsupply.com/index...uarium=moon_r2 I didn't order from here but the link from marine depot doesnt work. There is a dual kit that has 2 lights. I went with these because they were the only ones that would fit on my light tray. I had to make some brackets for them. Don't have a real good pic of it but you can see them in the vortech video I am about to post. Think you can see them when I open the canopy. This is the only pic I have of them ![]() |

I would love to see your build thread. Make sure you let us know. I wouldn't mind in the least since my design was based on another members build thread too! |

Here's a short video I made of the waves you can generate with vortechs. The upload downsized the video and looks pretty bad. I was trying to show the polyp movement on the sps corals but you can't even make it out here. Sorry. Hopefully you get the idea.
