Very nice - can you show us a full tank shot? Can't wait to see when that grows out.

here is my currently dry aquascape.

i feel it's minimalistic given the size of the tank. (~50 lbs of rock for a 36x36x24 tank)

thanks,
as the corals grow I plan to remove the rocks at the base and put them in the sump. The goal is to have large colonies and almost no rock work visible. Now the hard part is the waiting.

finally a pic of mine. I tried to keep it light and open. wanted it to be full of water, not rock. but with character and room for corals.

I think my aquascaping would qualify as very open/minimalist. I thought it would take years and years for it to fill in...but it has grown tremendously in less than 2 years.

April, 2007....

Man, those are nice tanks.

Untamed - simply beautiful tank. Any problem with sand storms having that much open sand? How much flow would you say that you have in the tank?

Mrpet - I am leaning toward doing something very similar with my tank. I like the foam wall, but want minimalist in the open areas. Very nice!

Very nice tank.
Would love to see close-up shots of your corals.
