Will, just a suggestion as I know you don't like the idea of batteries in you living room. Just run a power receptacle to your fish tank and have the battery backup where every you want. I plan on having a power receptacle in my garage with the other end being a power receptacle behind my fish tank to keep potentially hazardous situations from occurring. I'm not sure of the draw on the system for running 15 some odd feet, but it's worth a try.
Hey Tim,

That is a good idea. Same problem for me as the plumbing though, trying to run the lines. The wall my tank is against is an inside wall with no direct way to get there. I would have to run it up one side of the house into the attic.... across to the other side of the house and down somehow 2 floors. Would be a lot more than 15 ft. for me.

Thanks,
Will

Thank you. Sorry to hear about your red bugs. They suck. I have to say though, asides from the killing all your invert thing ... the hardest part about the interceptor treatment is getting your hands on it. The corals really seem to actually like it. Good luck.

As always, your tank is insane.
Thanks much for posting about it and updating.

Sorry but no. Tank is pretty much status quo. Been pretty busy lately with everything else. Figured it was also a good time to leave the tank alone and let it settle. This is definitely the longest stretch I've gone through with out adding or changing anything. Guess that's not so bad.

Again, sorry but no. How about some of my other 'work' for a change of scenery?

Your photography skills are truly remarkable. I love the B&W skyline pic. Heck... I like them ALL!

What stop did you use for the night shot on the water? F/1.8? 1.4?

Thank you. That night shot was taken at f/2.8 with a tilt shift lens at full tilt. It alters the focus plane and leaves a weird effect of making everything look miniature. Fun to do

Thanks! I kind of dabble in all aspects. Jack of all trades... master of none. It's really just a hobby although recently I've started getting paid gigs... weddings, studio work. It's nice to actually get something out of it. If I make enough to support my habit I'm happy

Here's some of my paparazzi work

Wow... how did this get so sidetracked?
