The key is to add them slowly.

I would get a combo of

Nessarius, Astrea, Ceriths ( I love Ceriths..) and turbos if you want (I hate turbos, they knock over everything)

I had a few hermits, but they're all in my fuge now. They like to pick at my corals (Blue ones)

40 snails, cerinths and nassarius
10-20 hermits
some brislte worms
some pods

or you could go to BZA and order like a 25 gallon CUC, most places grossly overestimate what you need IMHO

Just a few small hermit crabs (10 max) and about 30 snails, mostly turbo snails, and if you have deep SB then some nassarius snails are also good to have.
You do not need more than that in a 75g.

I personally don't like the turbos. THey bulldoze everything over and don't do that great of a job on algae IMHO. I think astreas do a good job... but they are too clumsy. It think ultimately every tank is a little different and what works in one will not work in another.

2x Strombus spp. (fighting conchs)
2x Astrea undoza (top crown snails)
6x Astrea tecta (astrea snails)
12x Cerithium spp. (cerith snails)
12x Nassarius distortus (super tongan nassarius snails)

This is what I would start with along with some Stomatella varia if you can find them (stomatella snails) and if you are starting with base rock I'd also get some micro stars, bristle worms, and pod cultures to get things going.
