Try cleaning it again. You will want to disassemble the pump and the impeller and soak them for 24hrs in 100% distilled vinegar. After this run a pipe cleaner thru the impeller and take an abrasive pad and wipe down the shaft. On the pump make sure the flapper on the inside of the pump just below the output swings freely. If it still does not operate properly then repeat the process once again. If the impeller is in good condition and the inside of the pump is in good condition (not grooved or worn) then build up of deposits is the issue even if they are not visible. You are also welcome to send us the pump and we can inspect it and fix the problem, you will just need to pay shipping.

is the flapper just above the pinwheel on the output moving freely? This may stuck partily open and the pump would not be pumping as much water as it supposed to which make it not draw as much air
Just a guess Chad |

Yeah, H&S in Germany hook it up really good. I never thought they would add the drain in the collection cup and the skimmer body

well. it should be producing some nog like this in no time.. right?
4 days on med stocked 185 h&s 200-1260 especially juicy with the chunks in it... it is actually worse in the cup right now! I got in trouble bc it was cold and I cleaned the cup inside. three hours and three candles later my girlfriend gets home, walks in the door and immedieately says "did you clean that nasty stuff in the sink!" hmm caught I guess.

Jar*Head, Brian told me all about your new baby (saw the first one at MACNA), looks like a beast. are you upgrading your tank size? how big, how many fish?
I eventually hope for 30 fish in my 60x30x24 and Brian says the 200 will do the trick for sure.

I'm not sure if there is a new pin wheel style for the 1260 eheims. I know they came out w/ a new needle wheel for the aquabee pumps.
