My skin gets thin here at times
You know most of us at least me are here to try and keep our tanks up and running. I don't spell well nor do I type well . But some here just love to barate us about it. They realy show there inteligents when they do this. I've been posting here long enough that most know all about my grammer skills and typing skills. I got to tell ya I'm 55 years old and not about to take a grammer class or typing class. So if you don't like the way I post or what ever here. When you see Ronny#66 don't bother on clicking on the thread and save most here from reading your discusting comments . Don't bother to point out any typos or grammer errors I 'm shure you get my point!! Thats why some people whom I mention this site too say they just got sick of the know it all"s and don't bother to post here anymore.

I'm right thewre with ya ronnie. I hesitate before i reply to any post because it seems that at least half the time, some profanity removed know-it-all whose tank has been up for about 20 minutes will flame me and my answer. Although what I say may cause some to disagree, what i say has been learned though 20+ years of marine fishkeeping experience, and has worked for me, my friends, and the customers at the lfs I spent over 10 years helping out. Don't like my advise???? Don't take it!

People who criticize spelling and grammar on a BB only impress themselves. As long as one conveys his thoughts clearly, I don't care how he spellz.

I find much greater joy in keeping the local Titans on their toes with well placed argumentative discorse. Nit-picking grammer is for those who think there is something special about a spell check.
By the way, my spelling is horrible. Back when spell check required thumbs on a hand held device, I constantly got hammered in my philosophy debates for it. Amazing how unintelligent it must make me to say things such as below, but with spelling errors. Now I have google spell check and I'm soooo much smarter for it. Quote:

No need, spelling and grammar are enough for them.

You're spelling is alright by me Ronny. I haven't a clue how to surface from a 100' depth on a single breath, but I bet you can. I hope you to choose to rescue me over them in such a scenario.

Hang in. It's not how you spell it, it's how you actually do it that counts in RC. There is, just under the text of your message, a little blue line that says Report This Post To a Moderator. Since mods physically can't screen everything, we rely on members to report those posts which are not appropriate. Action will be taken. You may not see the immediate result, but the offender will.

Ronnie, I am a complete newbie/idiot - my tank has been up for 5 weeks and the only fish I had before that were on my dinner plate so I am 100% that you and a lot of the other newbies have more information than I do and can absolutely help me keep my tank up and running!!! I'm a real stickler for spelling and grammer - but only when I am typing, and I know that I get it wrong quite a lot...... But I have to say if you're answer keeps my tank up and running and algae free and my fish alive I don't care if you write it in hieroglyphics!! Take Care

I think some people tend to have the need to make themselves feel as if they were greater than others simply because they have issues with there own confidence, they have to try to prove how smart they are or how good looking or how much money they make and its all meaningless, please do not let this group of people steal your joy, God bless you all

Ronny and any others bothered by the grammar police. Do you know what a sexual intelectual is? A FXXXing know it all. They do not like them self either that is why the bash. If they do not like them self then we do not have to either. Keep asking and keep answering. That is why RC is here to help each other. We all have to ignore jerks from time to time. I am not sure if I spelled everything right but then again I do not care. Keep banging those keys man!!!
