Show me your sump design for 6O gallon cube tank
I want to see how people designed a sump to go under a 60g cube tank (24x24x24) - i will not be using a filter sock - so it's gotta have some kind of live rock bubble trap...thanks

Here is what I got under my 45g semi cube 24"x18"x24". It's not perfect but is compact and includes a refugium. Also, I use a HOB skimmer so there is no room for in-sump skimmer but I get 0 microbubbles in the display...

Not really... Especially when the door to the stand is shut. But I used to have it hanging on the back of my aquapod and since it was out in the open, it was a little loud.

a 12 pack of newcastle
![]() ![]() It's actually pretty time consuming because the silicone takes time to dry, but not too terribly hard. I can walk you through it... Let me know when you are ready. Thanks for the compliment though! This is my first sump and I didn't know exactly what I was doing... But I had a pretty good idea of what I needed... All in all I am pretty satisfied with how it came out! |
