An easy way to go on a rimless is with Viper lights. I have a couple of 150HQI with 20K radiums on my 48" X 24" X 12". It's a very clean look.

The cost of the bulb is factored into the price of the unit. If we were to sell it without the T5 bulbs, there would be $15 less off the price. Each of the T5 39 watt bulbs costs us $7.50. |

That is what i am going to do. Get some ATI blue plus and use there bulbs for backup or an emergency. They are also going to honor a 15% discount when i place the order. Can't beat that.

I was looking on hamiltons site and I cam accross this...
If I can get this without the metal halide ballst or bulb I would get it. I already have a 175watt electronic ballast and a new 15k iwasaki bulb. the 175 plus 4x24watt T5's would be awesome! http://www.hamiltontechnology.com/sh...t=New+Products |

Here's a pic of one from a member here on RC. He changed out one of the T5's with a LED strip.

Just got word from Hamilton I can order the fixture above without the MH ballast and bulb for $345! Thats pretty cheap. I'll have 4x24wat T5 and a 175watt MH. The T5 reflectors are kind of crappy but I think the price is great. |

if i go with an ati powermodule type fixture over my tank...does anyone make nice looking matching brackets that mount to the wall behind the tank and the fixture can hang from....
little nervous on the cieling as not sure if the studs will line up correctly to support the fixture and center it over the tank |

But that will bring your fixture up another 40 bucks or so.I don't remember where i saw them but they where wrap around T5 reflectors that cliped right onto the bulb around $10 each. |
