Strange high after fragging.

So I was fragging a montipora digitata this morning and had to sit down shortly after. I was light headed and felt kinda, well, high. I didn't think montis could do that so it freaked me out a little bit.

I wasn't wearing gloves like I normally do.

Has anyone else had this happen?

If it were zoanthids that would be understandable, but I have not heard of it in monti fragging.

yeah its happend to me aswell.
im not sure what i was fraging but i felt sort of the same way.

I never thought montis could do that either. It's just a blue digi and it was sliming like mad after I cut it. Maybe I'm just sensitive.

maybe you are not breathing normal while fragging
kinda holding your breath when cutting and glueing
then if you stood up i could see someone getting light headed

I had something similar happen to me also. I can't remember what I was fragging but I remember it was late at night and when I took a shower afterwards I felt lightheaded.

I would say this is a good cause. I do this with a lot of things I do.

As a former EMT I would say there could be a hundred reason this could happen ranging from poor circulation, diet, allergic reactions, palpitations, lack of rest, vision problems (you'd be surprised), exhaustion/fatigue, blood sugar, prolonged exposure to synthetic salts, body combating a low grade virus.... Just to name a few. Lightheadedness is a very common sign of poor blood flow thus so many soldiers fainting while standing still for long periods of time though. If you were standing or sitting in the same position for long periods of time (say 10-20 minutes) without much movement while concentrating on cutting I would say this would be a good first diagnosis. If the dizziness went lasted for more than say 10 minutes then I would think it may be something else, but a chemical reaction would not be my first guess.

If it happens again I would recommend going to a doctor.

ive been making a 2 liter bottle fish trap with the glue i use to mount frags and got really light headed and dizzy so maybe u just took a big wiff of that (if u were useing a super glue)
