Fish list for new reef aquarium
I have a 90 gallon aquarium which I will setup next week:
-80 lbs live rock (will increase to 120 over next year -lighting 2x 250 metal halides, 2x96 PC actinics with moonlights -sump with Tunze 9010 skimmer I plan on a mixed reef and community fish tank. Following is my first pass at a fish (wish) list which I plan to purchase over the next year and a half -3-4 blue green chromis -Yellow Watchman Gobie -3 Banggai Cardinalfish -firefish or purple firefish -two clownfish either Oscellaris, Maroon or Tomato -1 Blue and Yellow Hippo Tang -1 Blue Throat Triggerfish I put them in roughly the order I plan on stocking them. What do you think? Am I on the right track? Any specific suggestions? |

Banggai Cardinalfish
I thought that the Banggai's could be kept in large groups as well...say 6 or more in a large enough tank. The shear number should be enough to keep the aggression from creating to much stress on the less dominate members of the shoal.

My cardinals trimmed down from 6 to 4 with 2 pairing and reproducing. The other 2 do fine on the other side of the tank.
