Anyone watching "Wild Pacific" on the dicovery channel?
Tonight they talked alot about reef corals and had some awesome reef shots. They showed several sps corals that they fragged and let sit on large racks on the sea floor for 2 years. They filmed it somehow during this growth process in its natural habitat. Then these people re-distribute these now large coral to a barren boneyard of coral skeletons and within a few years it will start to re-inhabit fish and other animals and organisms in the ocean.
![]() Just wanted to let everyone know this interesting show is on and is a new series on the discovery channel. I love DVR ![]()

The coral gardening was very cool. I wonder if any of those frags were harvested for the hobby trade. I love seeing corals in their natural environment, cuz you get a glimpse of how they're "suppose" to look in their natural environment, rather than the artifical ones we create.

The growth rate of the frags they gardened was sick. Makes me feel rather inadequate.
