Feedback on this powerhead
Saw this CoralVue High Seas 202B double propeller and labeled to deliver 3000 gph (combined output for both propeller) for $44.95. Has anyone used this before?

Mixed. Some say it's not quite up to the quality of the original Koralia, and some say its a decent unit.
I'd go Koralia or this one: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...1&pcatid=20171 I'm getting rid of my Koralia for the one above. I actually may go two 320's instead of one 530. JMO. |

Thanks. Looked at the Seio you were talking about. Their P1500 for the same price as the coralvue is only rated 1500 gph. Also, seio powerheads/pumps had quite a reputation if I remember correctly.

As long as you get it from a reputable place, if anything goes wrong, just return it for a refund. I know DFS is very generous about returns. So I'm actually going to do 2x 320's. |

Seio is made by the Rio folks, and their reputation is pretty poor. Melting powerheads in the tank IIRC. I haven't heard alot about the Seio's being a bad powerhead though.

I know Rio made some junk, but it looks like they have a decent PH in the SEIO Prop. It's worth the shot for me, because I need a Koralia 2, but in my 14g it just isn't happening. WAY to big. Aside from a MP10, this is my last option. |

Agree that the koralias are too bulky. I don't like mine either. Was thinking I can replace 2 of the koralias with the coralvue. Although I am not sure about the dimension of the latter.

I have the seio 1500 in my 46 bowfront...It's kind of bulky IMO, of course it's in a 46 so take that for what it's worth. As far as how it works, it's pretty good, I don't have any real complaints.
