Hello My Name is Charles I have had Freshwater for about 13 years and just now moved to Saltwater for the last year or so. So far I have a 37 Tall Saltwater , 10 Hospital Saltwater, a 29 saltwater, and hopefully this week the 150 Gallon Saltwater. I am finishing up the stand for the 150 as soon as the weather holds to dry the stain. I will be looking for ideas for my 150 gallon but it will for sure have lionfish. SO fill free to give ideas I will be starting a thread soon about the stand of the 150 and progress of the 150. Thanks

Hey folks
Hi my name is Mark, I am currently in the middle of expanding a system that was roughly 500 gallons. The new configuration will be right around 1,500 gallons and has 7 tanks. I will no doubt have several questions, so please be easy on me. While I understand the plumbing issues I am not so familiar with skimmers, refugiums, etc.... Thanks in advance for your' patience. |

Hi, my name is Michael. I am very new to saltwater. I have on order an oceanic 156, it will be (hopefully) a fish and coral tank. I am in the process of building a stand now. I will be asking suggestions on lighting, sumps and skimmers.
Thanks, M. |

Hello!
Hello everyone. My name is Tony and I am new to reef central. I have actually been a member for a while but have never posted anything. I currently have a 240g with a 90g sump. It was FOWLR for about 2 years, and now I have since traded most the fish and have started a reef. I have learned tons through this site and I thank everyone who has contributed.

Hello my name is Bill and I have been into the hobby for about 5 years in freshwater and about 3 in saltwater. I have learned a lot and hope to learn more. I used to have three tanks, and now down to one 24 gallon nanocube reef.

I have been reading on this forum for over a year, and I have finally got around to setting up an account. I have been researching the hobby since '04, but I just set up my first tank, a 65 gallon shallow rimless tank, in January of this year. I have been taking it REALLY slow, but I am happy with how everything is coming along. This site has given me a ton of great information and inspiration, so hopefully I will be able to do the same.

To Reef Central Consider starting a build thread on this forum. It is a good way to get feedback from others and keep pointers etc in a easy place to access them.

I've been a lurker here for the last 6 months. I can't contribute much but you alls input has contributed knowledge-wise to me. I only do freshwater setups, specifically tropheus and planted tanks. I enjoy my WaveySeas, although one did stop rotating. I'm pretty happy that I recently upgraded my lighting to ATI PMs. And now I'm checking out the Vortech MP40Ws for more flow in my tropheus tanks.
I have 4-Oceanic 120s, 2-DSA 90s, and I hope to get a DSA 215 or bigger next year. |

Hey I am new to the hobby. I am looking to buy a tank soon and get started. I have some friends pretty well involved in the hobby and they have gotten me very interested.
Which posts around here are the "must reads" for those just starting out? |

To Reef Central very interesting---I do both fresh and salt water setups. Some of us have asked for a fresh water forum on here but to no success. However alot of the concepts are very similar. Do you have a site you use as a fresh water forum?
