Instant Ocean Deal

Hi Everyone,

Just a heads up. I saw on a another post (can't remember which one) that Pet Smart has Instant Ocean for $31.99. So if you go to www.petsmart.com and you must print out the price on the webpage, or they charge like $44.00. Take the printout to the local store and they will honor the price. It was great, I got two 5 gal buckets today and only paid the tax.

Go save a little money,

Leon

I have been doing this for years. But when i tell people i found alot of stores wont honor it. So you might have to kick and scream a bit. BUt my local pets mart takes care of it every month.

Drsfostersmith.com has it for 33.99 right now. So 2 buckets with shipping is $39 each. Nice and convenient since it shows up at your door, no tax, and you can add any other supplies to your order and shipping doesn't go up much. I haven't found a better deal online for salt, or local for less than $40 after tax.

Good to know DT90gt

Here in the Houston area there are PetSmarts every where so it is not inconvient for me to stop by. And besides even with tax it is only $34.31 per bucket. And it also give me an axcuse to buy stuff for the dogs.

I printed out the ad to bring to the store. I noticed it shows the shipping charges of $13. Will the store try to push back on the pricing because of the shipping if I bought it online bringing the online price closer to the store price?

a couple months ago dr fosters had IO for $28 no shipping charge. I picked up 12. I have my eye out for another one of those sales. The only guy that didn't like it was the fed-ex guy

This is hit or miss with Petsmarts. Some will honor online pricing and some won't.

My local Petsmart told me that they couldn't honor an online price because the two are different entities with different cost structures.

I don't know if this is BS or not but I'll try it again and see if a different manager says otherwise.
