Moon Lights
I just got some Moon Lights for my 60 gal. Uniquarium Reef.
Any suggestions for the phoytoperiod for the Moon Lights? The regular lighting, 2 96w 50/50 PC's are on for 11 hrs. a day. |

Welcome to RC!
I assume that you bought them for appearance...Turn them on right before your regular lights go off and leave them on however long you want to view the tank under moonlight...basically till bedtime. You can do the same in the morning if you like. If you don't want to bother with one more timer you can just leave them on full time if you like...these things draw less power than the timer and the LEDs should last 10,000 hours. I have one tank configured with timer and one without...I really don't think the fish care a bit.
