Those pics you posted are impressive but I see that like my copy it does have some CA on anything that remotely moves. Like that Xenia shot, for example. I'm really struggling with that when I take macros... Anyways, here's couple of close ups from me, 350D and Sigma's 105mm macro+ Kenko extention tubes( 36&20mm). Here's one that shows a whole mess of CA the further you go out of focus. Browned out A.secale..I'm waiting for it to color up as good as Marc's did. And one more for good measure.

It is a sps Porites
Quote:
For your information it is a SPS Porites. I asked on WetWebMedia and they had few pictures of it. If the skeleton looks like honey combs it is a SPS Porites. I got the deltec mce600 skimmer a while ago to replace my remora pro and this thing is starting to grow again. It now extents its polyps more. Incredible skimmer. Thanks, hskim |

It's A.tenuis that battled with the red bugs and turned brown after very first treatment but is recovering.

I never would have thought it was a Tenuis. Did you see the picture of the coral you gave me at MACNA?

Glad it is doing good in your tank it appears to be growing well. It is a tabling variety so I would make sure there isn't much under it that is permanently mounted( may shade alot of area under it). As far as that A.tenuis goes, it looked much better couple years ago with green body and blue tips but...red bugs and all that crap associated with killing them did a number on it. Plus, as you know, I rescaped my tank twice, so it probably has something to do with it as well. Oh,well...
