New tank. I already rearranged it once in first week adding additional 26 lbs of LR to the first 125 lbs. Still not sure I like it though......

Opinions please.....

HF,

I think you are on the right track in your 29g...I'm partial to the first layout, mainly because I think it looks neat and relatively realistic with the "channel" between the two small islands of rock. I think the fish appreviate it too as it gives them an open area to swim in/through.

Amen to that! I had to get my girlfriend to aquascape my tank. Every time I tried to do it, it looked like someone had just thrown a bunch of rocks in there.

anyways, anyone here have the euro-style tank going on with very little live rock?

Yes, it's a 60 gallon with a sump. I have a single 400 watt 14K hamilton mounted in a Luminarc III reflector. All the other info is in my signature.

it has a new metal halide bulb so the tank is much whiter now, as well as more corals and alot more fish. i'll post a better pic tomorrow more zoomed in. I've recently caught some fish from a florida reef and i know its some kind of tang. Perhaps someone can id it for me tomorrow when i post the pic.

I can't believe no one has commented on your tank yet. How big is that clam? It looks like your sps are growing straight out the top of your tank!
