most appealing Anthias specie fish - room for 4 (pic)

looking for the most appealing/prettiest reef safe Anthias specie fish.

I have never seen any in person, only online so its hard to tell which look cool. was maybe think the Male Lyretail Anthias? Picture Here

I have room for 3 or 4 of them so I'd like to get a group of them and hopefully they will swarm together in my tonga branch. I want to have only exotic cool looking fish in the tank. Currently have a Chevron, Purple, Powder Blue and Yellow tang along with a pair of clowns (perks) and a few others to the list.

Here a pic of tank-

Wasn't there a thread a couple of weeks ago where you listed 10 fish you buying and the tank already had 8? And then last week 3 tangs and an anenome? If you added all of those, I would definately put the breaks on.

your are correct, this website rocks!! was at aquariumadvice.com for a while but found RC to be more helpful! anyways, most of the ten fish died during shipping, they where tiny nano tank fish, never again! did add 3 tangs an a anemone last week but nothing before that for 5 to 6 months. Not too concerned as my levels are still at "0". Unless you think I should wait for other reasons? I was told its good to add at once so they will get along better?

Oh, I also have a post here looking for cool corals under fluorescent night lights if you know of any, thanks!

The thread stuck in my mind because I had never seen anyone add 10 fish at once. (Not that you couldn't in a 180G). But what happen to the 8 fish that were in the tank originally? Were they lost also?

I think you need to slow down a little bit and let your tank adjust to the new fish - tangs add a significant bioload to it.

Judging by your photo. your tank does not look old at all. I see no coralline algae...

The ich is not gone. You need to research it like I mentioned in the other thread. Please take your time and do this right. Your aquascaping is very nice and you want your fish to be as beautiful, right?

Just my $.02. Good luck!

This is good advice. To addrss your original question, humpn247, the most attractive/prettiest anthias you could add to your tank would be ones which will still be alive a few months from now.

I haven't been at this all that long myself, but the few times I've hurried things something bad has happened. Patience is a very good thing in this hobby. It will save you a lot of money and heartache in the long run as well as helping make the hobby better for everyone else too.
