water change question

I have a 90 gallon and plan to do about 20 percent of water change... Should I use the water change mixed with salt and kalkwasser and other stuff inside before I do the water change? Or just use the water only to make the water change?

Thanks.
Michelle

I use instant ocean to make up my salt water. However IO is low on Ca and Mg so I supplement them before I do a water change. Basically whenever I make up a new batch of salt water I make sure the parameters are all to my liking before I add it to my tank.
