Very nice job. I also have a 55g with a 20g sump. I see you are using a Mag12 for flow. Is your tank drilled or are you using an external overflow? I have a LifeReef external overflow and anything larger than a Mag7 will overflow the tank.

I have a drilled tank with a built in 1" overflow and 3/4 " return. The mag 12 is running @ about 85 % gated down with a ball valve.

I am upgrading to a 180 gal in a couple months. so the tangs will have plenty of room to grow. blue2051, I got the vlamingi @ a lfs in fort lauderdale for $60. He is awesome deffinately a new favorite.
