Oceanic 58
What do you guys think of the Oceanic 58 Reef Ready setup? .
From Oceanic website; "All Oceanic reef ready aquariums come predrilled and feature our new Megaflow overflow which are installed on the back wall of the aquarium. These aqariums are efficent and effective and are designed to provide the water quality necessary for many years of enjoyment" With the tank, stand and canopy, it's going to run around $630.00 |

As far as the wife is concerned, the most important part is the design of the stand and canopy. I was interested in the 46 bow fronts, but the wife did not like the stands offered. So she saw one particular stand that Oceanic makes, she immediately said she liked a lot. The smallest size tank that fits the small stand is the 58G, a little larger and taller then I wanted, but the wife is happy, when the wife is happy, yours truely is happy .

I have a 38 AGA right now, but I saw the Oceanic 58 at the LFS the other day. Nearly the same footprint as my 38.
VERY TEMPTING!!!!

Where are/did you get it from? I'm hearing some people are having a lot of delays in getting the tanks. Is the Starphire special order or is that standard on their tanks? |

Oceanics are very nice. Just so you know, the 58 has the same footprint as a 65 tall (36" x 18") so you can get any brand stand and canopy that fits that size tank. I'm not even sure what brand my stand and canopy are, but they're nice furniture grade. But it sounds like a great price for a good stand, canopy, and tank.
