Skimmer silencer *pic*
Where can I get one of these silencers? Aparently they are used allot in the medical indusrty.

As you can see this water bottle I drilled does the same thing but god damn its ugly. lol

You can make it look alot cleaner if you use a piece of 1" or 1.5" pvc. Just drill a couple of end caps and use some nylon tube to connect it to your air hose.

Well here is a much better looking solution. I used water bottle caps for the ends.

Well I am VERY impressed with the difference in sound but it was not 100% silent. I decided to add a cotton ball in the middle of the chamber and VOILA!
Pure silence!!!! |

What is the noise you guys are reffering to that this silences? My Euroreef is really quiet.
