skimmer trouble...please help
My CSS65 skimmer recently stopped working......it still sucks up water through the pump, but it no longer produces any bubbles at all. I cleaned the pump out (found alot of hair algae in there), but it still doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks, Matt |

You need to check the air intake. I'm not exactly sure how that skimmer is set up, but it has to get air to make bubbles. Trace the path that the air goes from the end of the path all the way to the pump. Clear that, and your skimmer should work.

Yes, try sucking a cup of hot DI water into the air tube to clean out salt deposits.
