Red Sea Wavemaster Pro???
Happy Holidays everyone.....
I just got a Red Sea Wavemaster Pro as a xmas gift.... I'm in the middle of repumping my system to virtually eliminate the powerheads altogether by adding in a nice big closed loop and a Wavy Sea or Two.... So my question is.... does anyone use the Wavemaster on anything other than powerheads? I was thinking of plugging my closed loop into it to it could calm that down during feeding time etc and allow for only my main sump to run during feeding time/night etc.... Anyone got any tips on if/how to use it in a system like mine? Thx in advance. |

I used to use one same way just for Skimmer and Sump Pump during feeding so I would not forget to turn back on.

Yeah.. figured out $100 is a bit costly for that simple function.
I've figured out how to build my own... to allow for shutdown of the system at night for calmer seas, as well as a timer function to shut it off for a small period of time < 60 mins...... All told, probably less than $30. Now I can spend the extra $$$ on my Wavy Sea!!! |
