don't pop those things or they will spread like crazy. they are almost like jelly on the inside.
i wait until they get big and grab them by the bottom with tweezers, they will have like a "stalk" at the bottom you can grab without popping them. |

if you can you should individually remove each valonia by hand and do your best not to pop the bubbles. Like mike68 Use tweezers and grab them by the stem if you fear popping them with your hands. They are undesirable to your tank and will proliferate if given a chance.
