anybody with any bad experiences with Pencil urchins?

Well i just got a pencil urchin for christmas from a friend, and i was wondering if anybody has them with corals? Because i heard they can eat them. Well thanx for the help. Later

mine never ate my corals, and i had 2. but when they got bigger i had to get rid of them b/c they knocked them over, along with smaller pieces of live rock.

The one that I had never ate the corals. It does go around and try to knock things over. I never have had any problems with it.

They are carnivorous and omnivorous. Mine ate a blue linckia I had for 2 years. Stay away, or keep in FO tanks.
