Need advise on a RO/DI
I have been battling hair algea for a while and the users in the imvertebrate forums told me that I should use a RO/DI but I do not know much about them or what kind I need. My tank is 38 gallons and I try to change 6 - 9 gallons every other week. I would appreciate any info on low cost yet effective RO/DI plus any thing I need to consider when using/buying one.

Two big factors will be whether or not you would like to use this unit for drinking water as well as your reef, and also what is you tap water like? Does it have a lot of TDS in it already? Is the water hard?
Other things to consider will be of course you budget. Typically with RO/DI the issue is pay now, or pay later. More expensive units typically will be cheaper to operate in the long run whereas cheaper units will cost you more in DI resin. The best units in general are the ones offered by the reefcentral sponsors. FB
