will 24" T5 setup be good an a 30" tank
as some of you may have read i plan on upgrading my 130watt power compacts with a 4X24 watt T5 light from Tek Light, however it is only 24" long. I may also wait for the Aquatinics fixture which i beleive is a 5 bulb unit. Would this be okay to use on a 30" tank? Of course it would need to be hung, but should i hang it higher so the light spreads throughout the tank? How high off the water should it be hung?

I have a 4x24 watt retro in a canopy on my 30" long 20L and it is perfectly fine... no shadows at the ends at all.
