120 Upgrade Question

When I move from my 55 to my AGA 120, I'm switching from CC to DSB. My main question is in what order should I do it?
For example, I read somewhere it should be LR on the BB and then add the sand around it. Is this correct? Any other ideas?
Thanks,

some people say add the rock then the sand others say add the sand then the rock. Glass tanks scare me and I would be afraid of putting rock right on the glass but I know several people do it
