ID Please...no pictures yet

O.k., I know that getting an I.D. on something without a picture is about impossible but I'll do my best to describe it and maybe someone will be able to come up with something.

First this is, can a snail live without a shell? Reason I ask is that is exactly what this thing looks like. It's pale brown like a Throchus snail, has antena just like a snail and moves like a snail. I've only seen it twice, both at night, the frist time was on the glass the second time it was on the rock. It's not damaging any corals and I'm not losing snails. It does not look like a Polyclad flat worm. It moves faster than a nubibranch (from what I've seen in the LFS but I've never owned one).

I had almost caught it last night but by the time I had put on a pair of gloves and got a container with water in it he was right next to an opening in my live rock and the second I touched it he moved into the live rock and haven't seen him since.

Hope this helps.

Yeah looks just like that thanks spmedi. This one was over an inch long, is that an average size?
