Mj Mods Rock

I just built one of these MJ MOD 1200 and replaced a seio 1500..

It has a magnet mount too..

Twice the flow almost.. a much wider sweep than the seio.

I think I'll replace all my seios.

A decade or more ago RIO pumps AS WELL AS OTHER pumps were encased in an oil like casing. When the pumps failed it could melt down the material and produce oil slicks which wiped out a number of tanks. Seio's are not encased in any thing like that, never have never will.

I have 3 MJMODS with the new bell shaped housing. Two are farely quite and one is really loud. When the tank is in my living room I need whisper quite though.

I mod mine some time ago but took out due to the propeller reversing while on. It was doing this a bit too often. I'd like to get it right because the flow is really nice.
