Coralite boost?

Just heard of a product called purple up! They're claiming it puts all the right stuff in your tank to promote all the desired alge/coralite. Anyone try this product yet?

Correct water parameters will grow more Coraline alge than you know what to do with. Under no circumstances should you ever add anything to the tank that you have not tested for and know that it is needed.

I agree. Supplements are useless if you don't know whats in them and if it is needed in your tank.

Purple Up can do more bad than good. Target your alkalinity between 7-11dkh and calcium above 400 and your coralline will come. Consistancy is the key so getting on a good alk/calcium regimen is a good idea. Randy's 2-part works great.

Mag also plays a role in your coraline so keep an eye on that in addition to your Ca and dkh.
