can u reuse mixed kalk
I mix my kalk in 1 gallon batches and then drip it. I mix in a 1 gallon container and then syphon the clear liquid off the white stuff at the bottem. My question is. Can i reuse the left over kalk in the next batch and if so how many times can i use it over. Thanks.

It depends on how much Kalk you have put in.
If I remember, 1 GAL of water can handle 2 tablespoons of kalk powder. The rest of the stuff that settles to the bottom is just the impurities. HOWEVER, I mix about 3 cups in a 5 gal bucket and just add more water as needed and it lasts quite some time. So, I guess the short answer to your question is yes it can be reused if there is really any kalk left and it's not just the impurities. IIRC you can remix it and check the PH. If it's still really kalk disolved in the water, your PH should be somewhere around 12. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
