Who's using Prestone Driveway Heat?

As the title says, who is using this for their reef tank? I just got a 50# bag at HD, but I'd like to be extra sure before I use it.

I have NOT used this product. I did not know what it was. For those who do not know and are curious...follow this link...

Calcium and Alkalinity Supplement

When I saw your title, I thought you were about to pave your sandbed.

You guys have linked to the same article and yes I've read it. I am trying to find out who's using it and if they've had any problems. I currently use the Kent Turbo Calcium and it seams to be very similar. Plus, I can't find the Dowflake locally, so I'd have to get it shipped, which would make it almost 3 times the cost of the Driveway Heat.

I have been using it for about 15 months. No problems at all. I use it both for the calcium part of my homemade 2 part solution thats added daily as well as just the prestone alone to make occasional adjustments in tank parameters. I love the stuff and its cheap in bulk.

Oh, and I also use Mississippi lime company kalk. 50lb bags for 11 bucks. That is my main ca/alk supplement with weekly corrections done with the 2(3) part. The only mag supplement I do is from the 2(3) part and I even used regular epsom salts for the first year until I finally ordered the mag flake. I do weekly (or at least every other week) 15% water changes so the sulphate never built up on me. I still do that even using the MgCl though.
