Feather duster attached to clam?
Feather duster attached to clam?
I have a feather duster that is attached to the side of my maxima clam. If I remove the duster how should I handle it? Superglue it to a rock, or stick it in the sand ? I am afraid if I don't attach it to something it will blow away. I have a lot of strong flow in my tank. Can the duster be exposed to air? TIA [COLOR=royalblue]

I dont see any problem with it being on the clam. I used to have xenia all over the one side of my crocea. If you dont like it you can just rip it off. Just grap the base right where it is connected and pull it off. You can glue it or stick it between something. They can be exposed to air also.

It isn't going to hurt anything so why remove it?

If you don't like it where it is you can break it off at the base and superglue it to something else. The worm can leave the tube and find some place else if he really doesn't like where you put him.
