florida to nevada

i'm in south florida and moving to las vegas. i have a 75 gallon with 2 clowns , 1 foxface , 1 bannerfish and flame angel . I'm driving to vegas it'll take 3 days , can i take the fish in a bucket with an air stone, I also have 3 containers that i can put 12 gallons of the tank water per bucket in each. Is this ridiuculas or will it work

would probably be better to drive there and then have somebody in fla ship them to you. That would cut their trip down to 1 day instead of 3.

3 days to Vegas? Drive faster granny!!!! If you have a power inverter, a heater, and a powerhead you should be fine. A larger cooler would be my first choice. A new one, not a used one.

yup you should be good to go with heater, power head and clean container/cooler.

I know it sounds cold but I would just sell the fish where you are and get new ones after you are there, setup and established. Having traveled with live fish myself, it is a nightmare of headaches, too cold, too hot, too long, too .........

The stress of worry about them is just going to ruin an already long trip. As they are not that pricey to start with, you will feel better after you get there about the decision....
