shrimp and goby symbiotic relationships
I have a 14 gallon nano tank and would like to have a shrimp/goby combo. I realize that they dont always for the relationship, but will try.
Anyways, what goby/shrimp combos have a good change of working out in a nano tank? Thanks, Joe |

A common pair is the Yellow Watchman Goby and Tiger Pistol Shrimp. I have a tiger pistol shrimp and it is a lot of fun to watch.

Is a tiger pistol shrimp different from a regular pistol shrimp. My other inhabitants are a purple firefish, glass, and neon gobies. will the yellow watchman or pistol shrimp have issues with these three?
Thanks |

I have a tiger shrimp and Yellow Watchman. They should be fine with your other fish, they are too busy digging all the time to pay attention to other fish.

For a nano tank, you might want to consider some even smaller gobies that pair with the small Randall's pistol shrimp. The Randall's pistol shrimp stay much smaller than the Tigers. I have High Fin Gobies with Randall's shrimp in my 24 gal. There is also a Randall's Goby and a Yashia Goby which are both cool fish that pair with the small shrimp.
