YT problem...
My Yellow Tang is acting very strange. He is slamming his tail off the glass and sand.
I just upgraded from 150's to 250's MH Could the light change be freaking him out? Thanks |

Oh that is my old tank. I have a 90 now. I just switched from 2 150's to a 48 dual 250 PFO

I doubt the lights have anything to do with it... Do you have a cleaner shrimp? He may have some Ich issues.

How long has he been in the tank? I know they will fight with their reflection for a while before they calm down.

He has been in a while and been fine. Somebody suggsted that with the new light he may now be able to see his shadow better.
Or it may be a coincidence that I just changed lights. I do have cleaner shrimp and he appears to have no spots at all. |
