Fish Suggestions for a 30 Gallon Tank ?
I am looking for some suggestions for suitable fish. I have an open-top tank that holds 30 gallons.
The tank currently has live rock, 20 assorted snails, 6 hermit crabs, 3 emerald crabs, 6 peppermint shrimp and 2 cleaner shrimp. I have not added corals yet, but I probably will be focusing on soft corals. I may possibly add a small Tridacna clam in the future. I would like one or two sand-sifting fish, but one that will not jump out of the open-top tank. I’ve been considering a Court Jester Goby (Amblygobius rainfordi) and a Greenbanded Goby (Elacatinus multifasciatum). Are these 2 fish recommended, and can anyone recommend some other peaceful fish that would be a great addition to my tank? Thanks for the suggestions! Eric |
