set up for closed loop

After a great deal of research, I have decided to use a closed loop system on my 75 as well as a 20 gal sump/PS. My question is, do i need to have the tank drilled with 4 holes and 2 overflows. 2 for the sump/PS and 2 for the CL. I want to avoid hang-over pipes and intakes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, other than drilling, about all you could do is submerse the pump in the tank and run the loop total internally.

Check out Melev's site on his Closed Loop that is an over the back setup, no extra holes need to be drilled.
