hermit crab and shrimp goby

I am thinking of adding hermit crabs to my cleanup crew (scarlet hermit and blue leg hermit). Will they bother my Randall's goby?

Usually if the goby is healthy the hermits won't bother it! I have a few gobies with hermits and they don't bother each other!

my pink spotted goby will actually bring the hermits into the cave as dinner. he has been succesfull in getting one or two from the shell. usually he is just adding the shell to his collection. thats his hobby swimming around picking up empty shells to decorate his cave with. LOL no joke.

My impression is that gobies are peaceful. My Randall's goby spends most of it's hiding in the cave with it's pistol shrimp mate. One of my friend said it keeps hiding becase my big fat royal gramma is a little bit aggressive.

mine is peaceful except when something enters his cave. he was my 2nd fish, and i have had him for almost 2 years. he may have eaten 2-3 hermits the entire time. most the time he is just sifting sand, and collecting shells for his cave.

I agree with paintbug.. I have a 3-4 inch pink spot watchman and he does the same thing.. like to collect shells to put around his home, with or without the hermit or conch/ snail in it.
