I used to have reflective blue. it made the tank look big. but then corraline grew. it was a nice pink background.
I changed it a bit and made black and wow, my corals seem to pop out more.
Black's my vote. whew

True about the price, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I also went with the Krylon, but opted for black.

Depending how it turns out, I think reef ceramics could really give your tank an interesting look.

I think it would be cool to have the wall filled up with corals and whatnot and then have a low wall/pile of LR in the foreground.

I might just have to incoporate using this into my current tank that I setting up...

$200 would fill up the back of my 30 gallon tank perfectly.

Do you have any pictures of what your tank looks like with these installed? These don't look like a bad idea either...

Ill get some up, there are also some pics on their website.
I like them, in my opinion they are great, and they dont look bad even new. The way i see it once the coral overgrows the mags its going to attach to the glass as well and you will likely never see them again.
I attached a reverse superman monti frag and an orange capricornis and one very branchy acro, if you mount the right coral on there i think they will do an awesome job long term. Im thinking the cupping encrusting monties will be cool, they grow fast and the glass is a perfect place for them.

I voted other. No background but my tank is against a blue wall.

The new tank will be painted black since it will be against a yellow wall

hey Jim, got a website for that product?
that's very unique. first time I saw something like that
how much it cost per frag to be on the back? if it's magnet, will it be strong enough to hold when corals grow some more?
