2-Way Squirt Setup - Need Pictures of What I Describe

I have a 125g running with a Mag 7 as the return in a 55g sump. This gives a gentle ripple returning to the tank. I've just acquired a 2-Way and yesterday I set it up as a external closed loop with a Mag 12. Needless to say it almost blew my RBTA off the glass.

Here is what I want to do. I want to get rid of the Mag 7, use the Mag 12 in the sump, hook the Mag 12 up to the existing return as well as "T" in the 2-way with the plumbing of the 2-way going over the top. I hope I described this correctly. Is what I'm saying sound feasible. I can't draw or I would have. Anyone have pictures of such a setup.
