random puffs of bubbles from a piece of rock

i keep getting random puffs of bubbles from a piece of rock but i dont know whats causing them

any ideas?

In most new tanks for the first few months as the tank cycles you will see bubbles of nitrogen rise occasionally from sand and rocks.
