Refugium Aquatic Design Habitats
I am currently looking for a good sump/fuge and am thinking about making one, but then I ran across these aquatic design refugium
http://www.aquacave.com/searchresult...CategoryID=377 Has anyone used these before? What do you think of them. They look like they would work well, but not sure if they are to expensive for what you get. I do like that they come with a light for the refugium. Would love to hear your opinions!! |

Looks like you could just make one of those designs fairly easy with a standard tank and some baffles if you ask me. Save you about $300 bucks.

This is true, melevsreef is full of info too! If you are using a glass tank does it matter if the baffles are made of glass or is plexi glass suitable?
Also, what kind of sealant should I use if I get it from lowes or home depot.?

Go to E-Bay and search refugiums. They have something similar for around $100. It is a kit, so you have to put the acrylic pieces together, but it looks like it should be pretty straightforward.
