Fuge? Refugium?
Lordy...we've read LOTS of books....never even seen a reference to a fuge....please educate us.....

It's basically just an area of either sand, macro algae, plants, LR rubble or combination. It can be what ever you want. Pod reproduction, denitrification area. Tons of possibilities.
Check out www.melevsreef.com. I think there's a section on fuges on there.
