live rock
I just got some live rock, It got very cold during shipment is this going to be safe to put in my tank with my fish? It was kept wet with newspaper but I am afraid that it might have gotten frozen during shipment.

You would not want to put that rock in your tank with your fish regardless of the temperature it reached during shipment. You're tank is going to go through a cycle when the rock is added which will cause ammonia levels to rise significantly.
Can you put it somewhere else to cure for a couple of weeks?

Yeah I wouldnt put it in either. Fill up a bucket with new saltwater and let it sit in there for a couple of week. You will see a cycle in the bucket just like your tank when you started it up. Once the rock has cured you will be able to place it into your tank. Here is a link with great info on curing new Live Rock.

actually I have just started another saltwater tank, so I will just put it in there to cycle that tank. I was hoping to put it in my other tank with my clowns but I will wait. Thanks for your help
