I have a friend who just got one, so far no problems but I saw another post from someone locally who had one and had a problem with it nipping at things like clams.

Generally speaking, they do pick. Of course, it depends on the individual fish, what corals are in your tank, how much you feed, etc. I have a friend that has one. It did not pick at what was already in the tank when she added it (mostly zoos), but it does typically sample new additions (again zoos). Also, she does keep the fish well fed. Hope this helps.
